Angela Jackson

Angela Jackson is a Senior Strategist in our Milwaukee office. Since joining ABD Direct in 2000, Angela’s broad skill set and uncompromising project management style have earned her a reputation as the “go to” Account Executive for some of the company’s most complicated accounts. Her knowledge of direct response marketing and hands-on experience in all aspects of project management, mail plans, creative development, client communication, and reporting have distinguished her among her peers in the industry. Angela has helped advance the causes of a number of nonprofit clients over the years, including Environmental Defense, National Breast Cancer Coalition, the Drug Policy Alliance, Public Campaign, American Foundation for the Blind, Hillel, and others.

Angela grew up the Midwest, and was taught to work hard, be honest, show integrity, and always help a neighbor in need. Growing up she joined her mother and grandmother in organizing church events and youth retreats. The four trips she made with a group to Jackson, Mississippi to help clean up city parks, local schools, and churches and organize summer school classes for underprivileged children inspired her a great deal. Today she volunteers for events that raise money for the Liver Foundation, American Cancer Society, and Shriner’s Hospitals for Children. Fundraising at work and in her personal time allows her to reap the rewards of helping people by enabling organizations to fulfill their mission, and satisfies her creative and analytics sides.

If Angela could wake up in the morning anyplace in the world, it would be by the ocean in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. When vacationing, she may also be found wine tasting and enjoying the laid back nature and celebration of all things artistic in California’s wine country.

Angela is mother to a pre-schooler, who motivates her as a fundraiser because she knows she is helping create a better future for her daughter. In the bit of free time she has she likes to dabble in all things creative—oil painting, photography, and creating memory books for her daughter. Oh, and the athletic pursuits of bike riding, walking, and going to Brewers games!
